Ever since I held a clutch of some beautiful velvet, metal embroidered honours caps in 1986 I've been obsessed with their beauty and varied design.
So much so in fact I became a far better rugby player. I couldn't care less about acclaim, I just wanted to have a velvet honours cap!
Thankfully I managed to get some and my life is complete.
Having said that I still can't by pass a cap in a museum or shop window without taking photos of it and staring at it for ages.
Indeed I took and collected so many photographs of caps I didn't know what to do with them, so I created a website: http://internationalcaps.webs.com, which has become a World leadeer in galleries and information about honours caps.
With the help and permission of several auction houses and sports memorabilia sellers I obtained more photos and more information about caps and have published these on the http://internationalcaps.webs.com website.
Such is my fanaticism I now feel I am a bit of an expert of identifying and valuing honours caps, so if you've got any in the cupboard or any in the attic and you want to know more about please let me know!
Also if you are thinking of buying caps let me know and I'll help you source them.
The site is constantly updated so be sure to call back, and be sure to do some basic searching yourself using the ad links provided and search bars on the website.
CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE NOW: http://internationalcaps.webs.com
NB: Please note that the majority of the photos shown on the site are Copyright protected thus if you want to use them for any reason please contact the Copyright owner direct (details are on the website). Thanks!
